Dear Friends and Supporters of the City of the Children of Matamoros Mexico,
Welcome to our wonderful organization, lovingly created to help transform the lives of orphaned, abandoned and disadvantaged children in need in Matamoros, Mexico.
This is a very exciting time for The City of the Children of Matamoros A.C., as we celebrated the orphanage’s emotional grand opening this past September, and already the first group of children who arrived are thriving in their new home.
In addition, we were blessed this year with a new partnership with Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos International, and its American fundraising arm, Friends of the Orphans. These two groups are among the world’s leading child welfare advocates, providing support for children in nine Latin American and Caribbean countries. The worldwide network of support that our new partners can provide will have an incredible impact on our childrens’ bright, productive futures.
With the opening of The City of the Children of Matamoros A.C. a lifelong dream of mine has been realized. As a former orphan myself, I have a unique understanding of the life changing power that the support of a loving family can provide. Today our mission begins in earnest by providing our children with families for life through values of unconditional love, shared responsibility and education. My wife Cindy and I remain strong in our commitment to reach as many children as possible through The City of the Children of Matamoros A.C. For generations, the voices of these children have gone unheard, and by the simple fact that you are reading this letter right now we are bringing together people who listen and care.
I want to thank you for taking the time to get to know more about our organization and mission, and how, with your help, we can truly transform these children’s lives.
